Concrete mushrooms suitable for gardens and any outdoor space for an attractive focal point of interest.

Made with coloured mushroom caps (colour pigment in the concrete mix or coloured masonry paint - using the pastel colour range).

Moss growth on mushroom caps will likely appear when the mushroom caps are made with organic material in the concrete mix.

Mushroom height range can be from 25 centimetres (10 inches) to 80 centimetres (31 inches) with the diameter of the mushroom caps 35 centimetres (14 inches) diameter.

Mushrooms can be made with iron bar bases for stability staking in softer ground or without iron bars for hard surfaces. Where no iron bar is integrated then a slightly wider base is recommended for stability.

The concrete mix can be made with a small amount of organic matter to encourage moss growth to establish over time, for an additional aged appeal.

Quick guide to installing the mushroom in
the ground:

1. Set the mushroom close to the expected final location.

2. Safely kneel alongside and hold the stem of the mushroom in one hand hold the cap and in the other hand push down and tap the mushroom into the ground.

3. Any ground rocks or bricks will be apparent so either remove the obstacle or simply re-try for a position a few inches away.

Patio or driveway mushrooms are cast with a single reinforcing steel rod that does not protrude at the base.

Solid floor mushrooms are made with a wider base and lower height to ensure stability in the absence of a reinforcing steel bar.

In this example the taller mushroom is best tethered to a wall for security or can be submerged into any hard surface.

The shorter mushroom is stable and does not need any additional stability.

Concrete hardens even more every year by a fraction however after 1 month it is as strong as it will be years down the road.

Ornaments are ready for delivery between 1 and 2 weeks after being first cast.
